Due to severe thunderstorms dumping two inches of rain in a two hour time frame, the Chapel Hill Regional has been shortened to 9 holes. A two hour delay halted play at 8:04 AM and resumed at 10:04am. The golf course superintendent and IJGA Staff ruled the back nine unplayable due to flooding of a number of holes on the back nine.
