Players finally got a reprieve from the wet weather on Tuesday, June 10 and took advantage of the beautiful weather and great course conditions at Woodbine Golf Club in Homer Glen, Ill.

Steven Wojcik (Tinley Park, IL) and Anthony Lodovico (Homer Glen, IL) tore up the course, shooting the low rounds for the day with a pair of even-par 72s. Wojcik’s great play earned him a first place finish in the Senior Boys division, while Lodovico’s impressive play, which included an eagle on the par 4 second hole, earned him top honors in the Junior Boys division.

But the competition was fierce as Michael Sullivan (Burr Ridge, IL) was only a stroke behind the leaders, earning him a second place finish in the Junior Boys division. Steven Embree (Monee, IL) and Brian Bullington (Frankfort, IL) were only two strokes behind the leaders, tying for third place in the Junior Boys division.

The competition was just as tough in the Senior Boys division, as Russell Katz (Oak Brook, IL) was only a shot back of the leaders, claiming second place in the division, while Ruben DeAvila (Chicago, IL) was two shots back at 74, taking third in the Senior Boys division.

Lindsey Carr (Frankfort, IL) was low for the girls, carding an 80 for the day. Carr’s great play, which included an eagle on the par 5 sixth hole, earned her top honors in the Senior Girls division, and Jennifer Grant (Tinley Park, IL) took second in the division.

Ryann Gilley (Flossmoor, IL) earned a first place finish in the Junior Girls division with an 81, while Julia Radgowski (Frankfort, IL) took second with an 85.
