The following only applies to the 12-13 year old division and 18-hole 10-11 year old division.
In the event of a tie for 1st, in a stroke play competition, a hole-by-hole playoff will be conducted until one side wins a hole (if available). All other ties will be broken by matching score cards, as recommended by the USGA Rules of Golf.
In a stroke play competition, if a playoff is not feasible, matching score cards, as recommended by the 2007-08 USGA Rules of Golf (Appendix I - Stroke Play) will determine the winner. This procedure will first consider the best score for the last nine holes (this nine will be the back nine of the course played). If the tying players have the same score for the last nine, the winner will be determined on the basis of the last six holes, the last three holes and finally the 18th hole. Should the tie still remain undecided thereafter, a hole-by-hole count-back from the 18th hole shall be used to determine the winner. If a tie still exists duplicate prizes will be awarded.
